Blog-land

Last week, Trine who runs the blog-concept "Blog-land", sent me an e-mail, telling me that she had recommended my blog on her platform. Since I've been a fan of Trines concept for a long time, I was very existed and happy that she had chosen to name mine among many other great blogs. Blog-land is a platform where Trine collects the best blogs in the blogsphere – gives them a review and recommend them to her readers. Blog-land is written in both danish and english, so there is absolutely no excuse not to go visit her page and dig into all the great blogs! Warning: you may get addicted!
Visit here: Blog-land.dk or Blog-land.com

I'm Instagram'ing

So finally I decided to get on Instagram – or actually I've been using instagram for more than a year and a half, but my account has been private and for personal use only. Last night I was with a girlfriend who finally made me take the jump and now you can follow me on instagram as well. So my instagram photos are from my private life and the categories will, unlike the blog, be more different and more personal – a mix of things I do, things I see, things I like and things that simply needs to be shared because I think so!
You can see my latest updates in the sidebar on this blog or follow me by my username: kberggreen!
See you on insta!

Zarah Voight window decoration

Yesterday when I was on my way home from the office I drove by danish jewellery designer Zarah Voigts boutique and noticed the beautiful window decoration. I'm a big fan of japanese origami and these oversized origami-frogs/beetles and different decorations in the window were so dramatic, I had to take a picture and share with you. (sorry for the bad iPhone picture) If you're nearby Gammel Mønt or Christian IX's gade in Copenhagen where her lovely boutique is located, you should definitely pass by and have a look!

Inspiration is everywhere

Over time I've bought a lot of books to find inspiration in graphic design and typography, but a completely free and just as inspiring thing to do, is to go outside and find your inspiration in the city. On my latest visit to Tivoli in Copenhagen, a very old and beautiful amusement park in the center of the city, I brought my camera and started noticing the typography – and all of a sudden it was everywhere. Have a look below. On my latest trip to NYC I did the same and took home more than 200 pictures for inspiration – I'll post (some of!!) them soon! So my advice for today is to go outside and start noticing all the design that surrounds you!

Hay collection

Nice pictures in a beautiful scenary from Hay with a couple of new products in their collection. I love the color combinations, especially the wood textures and the black as a contrast make the baby-blue stand out in a very cool way! I would love to paint a wall in that color, but I'm a bit afraid that it would look way too childish in my home!
